One day a bird flew into the side of a building and fell to the ground and no one noticed except Will. Will picked the bird up and took it home to try and heal its broken wing. The story is told mainly in pictures and can be a good introduction to following a comic book or graphic novel format. Students can also make captions for the pictures that do not have one to fill in the blanks. A very nice story with a happy ending.
