This true story is about an African penguin who lives at the California Academy of Sciences. Poor Pierre is losing all his feathers causing him to be cold and causing the other "freaked out" penguins to shun him. Lucky for Pierre, a biologist named Pam comes up with a raincoat that Pierre can wear until his feathers grow back. The inspirational story has beautiful illustrations and is told in rhyme.
