First of all, this is a memoir so it can be used to teach that type of writing. Second, the memoirs are of a goldfish. At first the goldfish is very lonely in his bowl swimming around by himself. But, as the days go by more and more things are added to the bowl until things get very crowded. Finally, the goldfish can't take it any more and is transferred to another bowl by himself. Will he be happy alone again? Will he ever see his friends again? You will have to read to find out. Teachers, after reading this have the students write memoirs of other animals.
