Anne Frank by Yona Zeldis McDonough

This book is a picture book introduction to the story of Anne Frank.  While not appropriate for the really young I think 3rd graders could read this with some explanation from an adult.  The illustrations were cartoony and while I understand the reason behind it (to appeal to children and make the story not seem so dark), I found some of the illustrations just weird because of their angles and perspectives.  It was a good introduction to Anne Frank though.
